GDC Lan Crowd The Game Development Club at Worcester Polytechnic Institute is a close-knit group of individuals that live, breathe, play, and create video games.

We hold a great number of game-related events on the WPI campus throughout the academic year that are open to the whole WPI community; some of our biggest events are even open to the outside public. For more information about the events we run, please visit the Events section of this web site.

As you can tell from the club's name, we are also crazy about making games. WPI students who like developing games, especially students of the Interactive Media and Game Development program at WPI, have the opportunity to easily find team members for their ambitious projects and show their works to an appreciating community thanks to the GDC. For more information on the development side of the GDC, please visit the Development section of this web site.

We hold General Body meetings at least once a term where GDC members are updated on the current and upcoming events for the club, general gaming related news, and other club changes. GDC members working on projects are given the opportunity to present their works to the club at any General Body meeting, as well as gather interest in their project.

Overall, we're a fun crowd to hang out with. If you'd like to join the GDC, just ask us!
